The executive of Macquarie Saints Baseball Club Inc. ("MSBC") advises that the returns and refunds policy in relation to payments for players' registrations is as follows:

1. In relation to payments received for registrations where the player wishes to withdraw or cancel his/her registration:

   MSBC advises that most of the registration monies received are applied to registration fees and insurance charges for nominating teams and players to a competition.

   If the player (or player's representative) wishes to withdraw his/her registration before the commencement of the baseball season indicated on the accompanying registration then this should be done in writing and addressed to the club at: PO Box 3727, Marsfield NSW 2122; or by email to: [email protected]

   MSBC's Registrar will consider the request and determine if the required registration fees and insurance charges are due to be paid. If the registration fees and insurance charges are not due to be paid and/or are reversible then the Registrar will instruct the Treasurer to arrange for either (i) the online payment to be reversed; or (ii) a cheque to be drawn in favour of the original payer if the original payment was received by cash or cheque, as soon as practicable.

   If the registration fees and insurance charges have been paid and/or are not reversible then the Registrar will notify the player (or his/her representative) that the payment will not be reversed.

2. In relation to payments received for registrations where MSBC is unable to offer a position to the players registered because a team has been cancelled or there are insufficient players to form a team:

   MSBC will endeavour to accommodate all player registrations possible. Occasionally there will be too few registered players for the teams nominated. MSBC's Registrar will seek to accommodate the registered players within the players' nominated and adjoining grades and age groups in consultation with the players (and/or their representatives) prior to the season commencing. If a suitable team cannot be found for the player then the Registrar will notify the player (or his/her representative) and instruct the Treasurer to issue a refund.

   The Treasurer to arrange for either (i) the online payment to be reversed; or (ii) a cheque to be drawn in favour of the original payer if the original payment was received by cash or cheque, as soon as practicable.

3. In relation to payments received for where an online payment has been made or credited more than once:

   Upon this coming to MSBC's attention by either its own examination of its transaction records or by contact with the player (or player's representative), MSBC's Treasurer will confirm with its bank whether the duplicate payment(s) have been made in favour of MSBC.

   In the event of the duplicate payment being confirmed then MSBC will arrange to reverse the duplicate online payment.
